This section is called the “Lamb,” and the priest cuts it in the shape of a cube from the prosphora during the Proskomede. This piece is placed on the Holy Diskos and is later transformed into the Body of Christ. On the left, there is a triangular section containing the letters Μ and Θ (Mother of God), symbolizing the Virgin Mary. On the right, there is a square section enclosing nine triangles.
