Description A classic woven amulet in the shape of a small pillow. Crafted with gold and silver thread and featuring Saint Paisios. Inside, it contains blessings and includes a metal safety pin so it can be attached or hung. When Elder Paisios was asked about amulets, he said: “Amulets are pieces of fabric of various shapes, square or triangular, which contain within them various sacred items: oil from a vigil lamp, flowers from the Cross, wax resin from the consecration of a church or from the white vestment of the hierarch who performed the consecration, and pieces of relics from the vestments of saints. In addition to these amulets, which Christians usually obtain from holy monasteries, there are also other kinds of amulets. However, amulets by themselves do not bring salvation if there is no faith in God, accompanied by participation in the holy sacraments of the Orthodox Church. Amulets are sacred means toward salvation; they are not a fashion. These amulets too convey the grace of God.” It is safe for babies and infants.
